Fatima Torres joined The Lab @ DC in September 2022 as a research assistant and is now an Operations Analyst. Fatima is also a Master’s student in the Justice, Law and Criminology program at the School of Public Affairs at American University. She attended the University of Scranton for her bachelor’s in Criminal Justice. Post-graduation she went to work at a non-profit that deals with criminal justice issues in Washington, DC. Fatima’s goal is to go on to have a positive impact and affect change on important issues of everyday life.
When not working, Fatima loves to spend time with her dog Hazel exploring new coffee shops. She also enjoys cooking and baking trying new recipes.
