Josh Varcie

Josh Varcie joined the Lab team as a research assistant in June 2025. Josh is from Commerce Township, Michigan (a suburb of Detroit) and is pursuing a Master of Public Affairs at Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs. Josh graduated from Northwestern University with a double major in Economics and Political Science in 2019. Before coming to the Lab, Josh spent three years working in the Health Analysis Division at the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) in Washington, DC, where he contributed to analyses on prescription drugs, the Affordable Care Act (ACA), and long-term care.
