Kaia Johnson joined the Lab as a Research Assistant in June 2026. Kaia is currently pursuing her Masters in Public Policy from Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy, where she also serves as the Student Director of Georgetown's Policy Innovation Lab. She holds a B.A. in Government and Psychology from The College of William & Mary. Prior to joining the Lab, Kaia worked at LMI, a government consulting firm, where she supported the U.S. Postal Service with assessing and updating policy documents and improving policy management processes.
In her free time, she enjoys biking along the Metropolitan Branch Trail, going to concerts, and searching for the best coffee and pastries in D.C.
