Sadie Arnett joined the Lab as a Research Assistant in August 2025. Originally from Atlanta, she is pursuing a Master of Public Policy at American University’s School of Public Affairs. Sadie graduated from Georgia State University with a BS in Public Policy and a minor in Japanese in 2024. Before coming to The Lab, Sadie worked with The Carter Center's Human Rights program based in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, supporting their women's rights and environmental justice initiatives.
Sadie has backpacked all of the Appalachian Trail in Georgia and has completed sections in North Carolina and Tennessee. She is really excited to start completing new sections near DC soon.
